- Brazil’s Bible Conference     Sunami Chun | Brazil News     “And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment”  (Hebrews 9:27)       The 14th Brazil bible Conference was held from 13th Monday to 18th Saturday May in Sao Paulo, Brazil and approximately 70 people attended the conference daily resulting in 5 people who claimed they were saved at the end.     The preparations started with discussion between the brothers and sisters about thes conference’s place, size, objectives, duration, costs, alimentation, past failures. One important discussion was about choosing between a big size Countryside Retreat or a City Conference and despite there were many reasons for why we should do a retreat in a reserved place, and since we decided that soon after this conference we should do a health seminar and also a second conference in the second semester, we agreed to focus our efforts over three small events instead of one big countryside retreat this year.     Once everybody agreed, the preparation ran swiftly and invitation, placards, meeting room rental, transportation, translation, sound and projection system, Bibles, etc, were all diligently prepared. The Conference happened in Hotel Luz Plaza in Bom Retiro neighbourhood, in the central area of the city, rich in transportation and where many Korean families live and work.     Every church member became responsible for inviting people for the conference. There was also an active invitation through the permanent bazzar that happens every Saturday in the Ermelino Matarazzo church with the Brazilian brothers and sisters.*     Since it was not possible to serve our own food in the hotel, it was served in a sister’s restaurant near the hotel (200 meters) every day.
