Last February, we were delighted by the news from Eliot who had been fighting lymphoma gland at the age of 29. Though staying in fellowship, he wasn? born again. However he now found a real peace.
Hi everyone, It's been awhile and I hope everyone is doin?well. I've recently decided to leave Korea and return to California. I was planning on extending my stay in Korea but 6 months was long enough.Having arrived yesterday afternoon, it's good to be back. The vast california blue skies and the soft sun that illuminates here was unexpressibly calming after a long trip. I plan on chilling a bit in LA working on the resort's landscaping and mini animal farm we have pieced together over the years. As for my health, it's gotten better; symptoms come and go and it's more manageable now as I've learned what symptoms to expect the past 6 months. All my major arteries and food passage way are prestine. The tumors are still there but it's something that I expect to live with. Overall, the last 6 months has perhaps been the most thought-provoking and God-searching period of my life. Having to think about death for much of the time wasn't fun but through this experience, God humbled me, opened my heart, and allowed me to find eternal life.It happened on January 1st, 2009 at around 3 pm. The days prior to this day were the lowest points of my life as my symptoms left me bedridden, unable to eat anything, mentally and physically rock bottom. I wanted to die.
