In-Ae Lee | Germany     Tuesday April 7th 2009The Mexican bible conference started today. There are exactly 500 attendees, mostly Latin Americans and few Koreans. In Mexico people shake hands with everyone, always using both hands, and people you've met before, even once, get a big hug. So there has been a lot of hugging yesterday. Due to language barrier we could see a lot of widely smiling faces with "hola" "bienvenida" and "mucho gusto" and then just nodding and more hugging. Some of these people I've known for many years. I can read their last names on many nametags of young people who run around doing work at the conference. It seems that they have evangelized their whole families.In the kitchen they made a lot of effort to get a hundred percent organic food. There is a Mexican brother who is a chef and he is responsible for the kitchen. This mixture of all organic Korean and Mexican food is really, very delicious. All local moims brought some self-made item to sell at the Bazaar. Half of the money goes to the local moims and the other half is for the student-group; they are planning to make a Latin-American student-conference some time soon.   Wednesday April 8thIn the evenings Mr. Koh from New York is speaking and in the afternoons there are lectures given by doctors. This afternoon we heard Prof James Lee. I've been traveling with Prof. Lee and Dr. Kim for almost two months now. We've been traveling around the world to give lectures at Health Seminars and I've heard Prof. Lee's health lectures many times. But this time it was quite different from before. He showed a lot of Bible verses and we heard an almost sermon like lecture with a lot of scientific pictures. The Mexican brothers and sisters were fascinated, they listened so well, it was absolutely silent in the hall. Also the Koreans I've spoken to all liked this medical sermon very much; they said that some things that they heard before in other sermons became clearer to them. We are looking forward to hear Dr. Kim tomorrow afternoon. In the mornings Mr. Im from NY gives special lectures for Newcomers about the Bible in general and the gospel in particular.
