Emmanuel T. Estrella | Philippines I am Emmanuel T. Estrella, a pioneering pastor in Digos City and other neighboring towns of Davao del Sur. My wife Gloria has been a great help in the ministry since we got married on December 22, 1987. The Lord blessed us with 4 wonderful children: Ivy Pearl, Jasper Jade, Ruby Pearl, and Emerald Pearl.In the summer of May 1984, after my graduation from Doane Baptist Bible College with a Bachelor of Religious Education (BRE) degree, in Iloilo city, I was challenged to help with the work in my home church, with our pastor, the late Rev. Arturo M. Bibiolata, to whom I was much indebted, because it was through his ministry that I first gained knowledge of the Bible and was challenged to dedicate my life to the Lord. Sometime in June 1984, I was fully convinced to work as a volunteer youth worker, with no financial support from the church. I was with our pastor then, working happily through thick and thin, even until he was ruthlessly shot to death by the NPA rebels at the dawn of December 26, 1986. The church suffered too much pain, loss and crisis.I immediately assumed the pastorate of the Panabo Fundamental Baptist Church in the January of 1987 and remained there until 1994. Then, I came to do pioneering work in Davao del Sur, particularly in Digos City. Of course, my biggest desire is to let those who don't know Jesus know Him and to put my complete trust in God that He would provide for my family. Now, there were more than my family waitin
